CamperPass is a platform operated by the company MB “Kemperio bilietas”, which is responsible for the processing of your personal data (data controller).

Why we collect information about you?
In order to provide the service you want, we need to collect certain personal information about you. One of the most important operating principles of the CamperPass platform is trust between users and a sense of security.
We believe that the best way to achieve this is transparency: so that vehicle owners can see who they are renting to, and renters know who they are renting from.

Processing of personal data
Below is a list of the personal data we process:
Account creation
To rent or rent out through CamperPass, you need to create an account. After creating an account, you enter or upload the data required to use our service.
We pass some of this data to third parties, e.g. for identity or payment verification.
Legal basis: the data is processed in order to perform the contract concluded with you.

Communication with you
When you contact us by email or phone, we store information so that we can stay in touch and handle your enquiries.

Payments
When payments are made, payment service providers (e.g. Stripe or similar) process your payment data. CamperPass does not store credit card data – it is processed only by the payment service provider.
We keep only payment receipts and the documents required for accounting, as required by law.

Booking request and contacts with the owner / renter
When you send or receive a rental request, your profile photo, name and age are shared with the other user (owner or renter).
When the rental is confirmed and an agreement is concluded, additional contact details are shared – email, telephone number and address.

Listings and ratings
When you publish a vehicle listing or rate another user, certain data about you is publicly displayed: profile photo, first name (and the first letter of your surname), age and the photos you publish yourself.

Newsletters and other emails
If you have chosen to receive a newsletter, we will periodically send you emails. Your name and email address will be used for this purpose.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email.
Even if you do not receive the newsletter, we will still send important service-related notifications (e.g. about bookings or messages).

When using the website (e.g. when searching for vehicles), we collect data about your device and IP address in order to improve the quality of the service.
